They can also be taught tricks. Although they aren't as good speakers as Greys, they can speak. Loudness: Can be trained to be quiet. After dealing with cockatoos over a number of years, I have found that all of the cockatoos make excellent family birds and love attention and people. MY NEWEST BABY COCKATOOS: Here is a Lesser Sulfur Crest Cockatoo. They are about half the size of a Citron Cockatoo. Very nice birds, not loud, just very loveable. I only get about three a year. These guys are a little harder to come by. They do talk, you have to teach them but they are very smart and can pick up words quickly. This baby is twelve weeks old. THis is a Citron Cockatoo about 12 weeks old. Smaller then the Umbrella Cockatoo, a very nice bird, rather quite and loves everyone. Just an all around good bird. They have an orange creat, yellow checks and yellow through different parts of their body. They are good talkers, you do have to teach them. This is a cutie; 8 week old Umbrella Cockatoo on two, sometimes 3, hand feedings a day. Umbrella Cockatoo. This little guy is just so precious! I decided to put him on twice These are 12 week old babies. Still on two hand feeding a day. However, they are starting on seed and drinking water and are ready for fruits and vegetables. Blue and Gold Macaws, Eclectus Parrots (boy is green and girl is red). Moluccan Cockatoo, yes; believe it our not he or she is a 12 week old baby. This is a large one, not all are this large. But he or she is beautiful! (Don't you agree?) 12 week old Moluccan Cockatoo and Blue & Gold Macaws.
